Terms & Conditions of Sale

These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through the Espressions online store. By placing an order, you enter into an agreement with Espressions B.V. These Terms & Conditions do not affect any mandatory consumer rights you may have under applicable national or European law.

Espressions is a Dutch brand of premium kitchen appliances. Products purchased through this website are sold and supplied by Espressions B.V.

2. Orders

Products can be ordered directly through our online store.

After adding the desired products to your shopping cart, you can review your order, enter your billing and delivery details and select one of the available payment methods.

Before submitting your order, you will have the opportunity to review and correct your order details.

Once your order has been successfully placed, you will receive an order confirmation by email. A shipping confirmation with tracking information will be sent once your order has been dispatched.

We reserve the right not to accept or to cancel an order in exceptional circumstances, for example if a product is unavailable, there is an obvious pricing or product information error, payment cannot be completed or we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unlawful activity. If payment has already been received, the relevant amount will be refunded.

3. Prices & Payment

All consumer prices shown in our online store include VAT unless otherwise stated.

Any applicable delivery charges are clearly displayed before you complete your order.

Available payment methods are shown during checkout. Payment must be completed using one of the payment methods offered for your country.

For payments by bank transfer, additional processing time may apply. Your order may not be dispatched until payment has been received.

4. Shipping & Delivery

Orders placed on working days before 14:00 CET are normally dispatched the next working day, provided the products are in stock and payment has been received.

Delivery times depend on the destination country and are estimates unless a specific delivery date has expressly been agreed.

For deliveries within the Netherlands and Belgium, delivery will normally take place within one or two working days after dispatch. Deliveries to other European destinations may take several working days.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will normally receive tracking information by email.

If a product is temporarily out of stock, this will be indicated on the website where possible. If an unexpected stock issue or other delay occurs after your order has been placed, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible.

Unless otherwise agreed, goods will be delivered no later than 30 days after conclusion of the purchase agreement, as required by applicable consumer law.

5. Right of Withdrawal & Returns

14-Day Right of Withdrawal

As a consumer, you generally have the right to withdraw from an online purchase without giving any reason within 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you, receives the product.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision within this 14-day period.

You can do this through the online withdrawal function on our website, by email, by letter or by using the model withdrawal form provided on our website. Use of the model form is not mandatory.

After notifying us of your withdrawal, you must return the product without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us.

Condition of Returned Products

During the withdrawal period, you may inspect and handle the product only to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, similar to what would reasonably be possible in a physical store.

Please return the product complete with all supplied accessories and, where reasonably possible, in its original packaging.

You are responsible for any reduction in value resulting from handling the product beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.

Return Costs

Unless otherwise indicated or agreed, the direct cost of returning a product following a standard withdrawal is borne by the customer.

If a product is defective, damaged upon delivery or incorrectly supplied, please contact us before returning it. Where Espressions is responsible for the return under applicable consumer law, reasonable return costs will be borne by Espressions.

Refunds

If you withdraw from the complete order, we will refund all payments received from you for that order, including the cost of our least expensive standard delivery method offered for that order, where required by law.

We will refund the amount without undue delay and no later than 14 days after being informed of your decision to withdraw. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or until you have provided evidence that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first.

Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.

Please package returned products carefully to prevent damage during transport and retain proof of shipment.

6. Warranty & Legal Guarantee

We design Espressions products for long-term use and stand behind the quality of our products.

All products purchased by consumers from Espressions are covered by the statutory legal guarantee applicable to the purchase.

Within the European Union, consumers are entitled to a minimum two-year legal guarantee from the date the goods are received. If a product is defective or does not conform to the purchase agreement, you may be entitled to repair or replacement free of charge and, where appropriate under applicable law, a price reduction or refund. National legislation may provide additional consumer rights.

Certain Espressions products may also be supplied with an additional commercial manufacturer's warranty. The duration and conditions of any such warranty will be stated with the relevant product or in its warranty documentation.

Any commercial warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights and does not restrict or replace them.

Damage resulting from normal wear and tear, misuse, improper maintenance, accidental damage or modifications is generally not covered by a commercial warranty. This does not affect any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.

If your Espressions product appears to have a defect or requires repair, please contact our Customer Service team or use the Warranty & Repairs form on our website.

7. Repairs & Service

Espressions products are designed with long-term use, serviceability and repairability in mind.

Where possible, we aim to repair products rather than replace them unnecessarily.

For warranty claims or repair requests, please provide as much information as possible, including the product model, serial number where applicable, proof of purchase and a clear description of the problem.

Our Customer Service team will advise you on the appropriate next steps.

We will acknowledge and respond to complaints as quickly as reasonably possible and aim to provide a substantive response within four working days.

Nothing in this complaints procedure affects your statutory rights or your right to use any applicable alternative dispute resolution procedure.

The former European Commission Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 and is therefore deliberately not referenced here.

9. Product Information & Availability

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, images, prices and availability shown on our website are accurate and up to date.

Minor differences in appearance, colour or finish may occur due to production variations or differences in screen display.

We continuously develop and improve our products and may therefore make reasonable technical or design changes that do not materially affect the product's functionality or quality.

In the event of an obvious error in a price, specification or other product information, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

10. Privacy

Espressions B.V. processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable privacy legislation.

Personal data may be processed for purposes including processing and delivering orders, payments, customer service, warranty and repairs, legal obligations and, where you have given consent or another lawful basis applies, marketing communications.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the Espressions website, including but not limited to text, product names, trademarks, logos, photographs, videos, graphics, designs and other materials, is owned by or licensed to Espressions B.V., unless otherwise indicated.

Content from this website may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, published, modified or commercially used without prior written permission from Espressions B.V., except where permitted by applicable law.

12. Website Information & Disclaimer

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that the information provided on this website is accurate, complete and up to date.

However, errors or omissions may occur, and information including product specifications, availability, images and other content may be updated or changed without prior notice.

Links to third-party websites may be provided for convenience or additional information. Espressions does not control these external websites and is not responsible for their availability or content.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

13. Applicable Law

These Terms & Conditions and agreements entered into with Espressions B.V. are governed by Dutch law.

If you are a consumer residing in another country, this choice of law does not deprive you of any mandatory consumer protection afforded to you under the laws of your country of residence where such protection applies under European or national law.

Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably may be submitted to the competent court in accordance with applicable law.

14. Changes to These Terms

Espressions may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time, for example to reflect changes to our services, products or applicable legislation.

The Terms & Conditions applicable to your purchase are those made available to you at the time your order is placed.
