Chicken Casserole

Requirements

  • 500 g chicken breast
  • 2 tablespoons flour, seasoned with black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 1 medium-sized onion, chopped
  • 1 stalk of celery, finely chopped
  • 2-3 carrots, cut into thick slices
  • 1 leek, cut into thick slices
  • 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 Knorr Chicken stockpot, dissolved in 400 ml boiling water
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme

Preparation

Cut the chicken into cubes and sprinkle with flour. Heat the oil in a frying pan (or use the inner pan of your slow-cooker, if suitable) and fry the chicken. Place the chicken in the slow-cooker and add the remaining ingredients, mix well. Set the slow-cooker on HIGH for 4 to 5 hours or on LOW for 7 to 8 hours. Stir well and serve with creamy mashed potatoes and green beans. Tip! Add a tablespoon of sour cream or whipped cream and garnish with finely chopped chives.
