Red beet hummus

Requirements

  • 400 g chickpeas
  • 250 g cooked beetroot, halved
  • 2 cloves of garlic, peeled
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 2 tbsp tahini slices
  • 100 ml olive oil
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt 

Preparation

Put all the ingredients in the blender jug and blend at low speed until all the ingredients are combined. Increase the speed and blend the ingredients until you reach the desired consistency. Serve with carrot and pita bread, for example.
