Requirements

  • 3 or 4 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
  • 4 tablespoons sultanas
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons apple pie spice
  • 2 tablespoons apple juice
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Preparation

Put the apple slices and sultanas into the Crock-Pot slow-cooker and mix well with a wooden spoon. Add the sugar, apple pie spice and apple juice and stir well. Make sure there is enough liquid in the pan. A slow-cooker should always be two-thirds full, so the requirements may vary slightly. Sprinkle the butter over the apples and set the slow-cooker on position LOW for 4 to 6 hours.
